Watch The Moment 4 Vloggers Get Brutally T-Boned On Camera

It remains unclear which of the drivers were at fault (German traffic laws differ to those in the UK and US), but the hit from the side looks to be pretty brutal. According to the uploader, nobody pressed charges...

Rechts vor links. The car coming from the right has priority. He didn’t look to the right while crossing and the other driver didn’t slow down to look around the corner either. Both are at fault while the camera car has more because they didn’t obey the law.

To set things clear and take away the disguisement(?) : Both Drivers made faults, but the upper hand goes to the vloggers here. In Germany we got the priorty : Right before Left. That means at every unmarked/-shielded junction, the guy from the right has the priorty to drive first. So it was clearly mainly their fault. But the other thing is : Both Drivers seemed to be to fast and both didnt stopped at the junction. What we are learning today is, that you should always inform your self about the country you go and always wear your seatbelt. “Unwissenheit, schützt vor strafe nicht” a german spelling for “Not knowing, dont secure/protect before punishment/penalty”

Yeah the whole right before left rule is confusing to me, (First time i’ve heard about it, I’m from the U.s.). Here we have 4 way stops. Where everyone comes to a complete stop, and whoever stops first, procedes first. The 4 way intersections in the video just look really dangerous…

That rule makes a lot of sense. But there are two things to consider, neither vehicle slowed while approaching, the car doing a 180 is indication that the van did not and we see that the car did not. At which point how do you weigh the “right before left” law because neither were following it. Second, the fact that the car was like 60-75% through the intersection at the time of the collision, and I assume that you have to yield to traffic already in the intersection, that’s a pretty standard traffic law.

Saying that each is 50% at fault seems very reasonable.
