A bizarre hit and run is the latest incident to emerge from Baton Rouge, Louisiana following an odd roadside dispute.
The Daily Mail reports that a man was selling shrimp by the roadside when a pickup truck pulled up and, for reasons that remain unclear, stole his sign. At this point the shrimp seller jumped on the pickup's bonnet to stop him driving away.
That's when things get interesting. The pickup driver floors it, leaving the shrimp seller holding on for dear life. Not that you'd know it, as this YouTube witness pulls alongside to capture the action.
Despite the apparently terrifying situation he finds himself in, our hood surfer remains mighty calm as he requests the camera operator to call the Police.
Naturally she doesn't, responding with an inquisitive "What's going on?" Because, when someone asks you to phone the Police while hanging onto the side of a moving car, you should finish chatting first. The more you know...
The tale ended safely when the pickup driver dropped his new friend off at a Police station where, incredibly, nobody was charged.
