Watch A Race Car Get Lost In A Hotel Car Park After Going Off At Sebring

This highly unusual clip shows a race car going down an escape road at the Sebring circuit - possibly due to a brake issue - smashing through a gate and getting lost in a hotel car park

The video, title and description give away very few details but it looks as though the car (maybe a yellow Chevy Corvette) goes off at the Hairpin after a possible brake issue, going through a gate at the end of the escape road and getting lost in a hotel car park as the driver tries to find the track again.

The clip was uploaded on 17 March, the same day as WeattherTech SportsCar Championship practice for the 12 Hours of Sebring, which could indicate when the incident took place. If you have more info comment below!

hm maybe downshifting would stop the car a bit faster

He could damage the gearbox that way

Driver was an idiot…
He could have just lock the steeringwheel and let the car spin in a circle untill it stops..
Or he could downshift and use first gear to stop the car..
Also it’s he’s own god damn fault for not installing a handbrake.

It’s a GTLM car, it has no handbrake because it can’t have. Plus, any of corvette racing drivers are professionals who won, among other races, the 24h of lemans more than once. I don’t believe you know better then them what to do. Seriously…
