I kind of get his idea to steer towards the apex, but why onwards onto the grass?
If anything, the close call with the Ferrari should’ve made him head to the right side of the track.
By the way, by the rules for the tourist-laps he would’ve had to stay on the right the whole time, since you’re only supposed to drive on the left to overtake.
