Watch A Towed Rover Get Punched Into The Air By Hydraulic Bollards

The recovery vehicle pulls up to the barrier, as the bollards begin to drop.

Breaking down can be a pretty stressful experience. Sitting by the side of the road, often miles from home, knowing that repair bills could cost a fortune will be playing on your mind. Fortunately, you're a member of the fourth emergency service, as the AA likes to be known.

Part one: successful. The van gets through okay, but things begin to go wrong as the barrier starts to drop.

The problem is that things don't always go smoothly, even after you've been recovered by the pros - as this AA member found out. Driving out of what appears to be a super-secure car park, the barrier raises while massive bollards sink into the ground to allow the AA van through.

Adding insult to injury, the bollards hold their prize aloft.

Unfortunately, said bollards don't take kindly to towed vehicles... With the van safely through, the barrier drops onto the broken Rover 45, after which the security bollards shoot into the air, lifting the Rover clean up like a well-executed bench press: "Lightweight!"
