Watch What Vin Diesel Had To Say At Paul Walker's Crash Site

Vin Diesel addresses mourning fans, while police rule out street racing as accident's cause

Last night Vin Diesel visited the crash site where Paul Walker lost his life. Crowds of fans have been ever-present, holding candle-lit vigils and comforting each other.

Walker's Fast & Furious co-star took control of a police car's loudspeaker and, addressing the crowd, thanked them for coming down - "...the love that you've shown Paul; it's gonna stay with me forever", said Diesel.

Since news broke of Walker's death, tributes poured in through Twitter, with friends and colleagues expressing their shock at his sudden passing:

A friend of Paul's who was present at Saturday's charity event told AP Radio the actor had spent the day "doing what he loved".

"He was very happy. He was smiling at everybody, just tickled that all these people came out to support this charity. He was doing what he loved. He was surrounded by friends, surrounded by cars."

Paul Walker lost his life when the Porsche Carrera GT he was a passenger in crashed at high speed, also killing the driver, Roger Rodas. Police are still trying to determine the cause of the accident, however they have ruled out street racing.

Multiple news outlets reported that a yellow Honda S2000 was at the scene of the crash immediately after it happened, however this turned out to be unrelated. Despite the fact that street racing has been ruled out, police still believe that speed was a contributing factor in the accident.
