We Sure Hope This Good Guy Cop's Thanksgiving 'Kindness' Doesn't Land Him In Trouble
Thanksgiving is a time for families to come together, and for people to put aside their differences. This cop is definitely feeling that holiday spirit, after pulling over a Mercedes G55 AMG.
Having signalled the driver to stop for going fast "even for Thanksgiving", his attention quickly turns to the Merc. No doubt intrigued by such a rare motor, he asks what's under the hood. On hearing there are "500 horses", he naturally asks to hear the supercharged, 5.4-litre V8's roar.
After having a laugh and joke with the driver, the cop tells him to slow it down, then leaves without issuing a ticket. This has left some division among viewers. Some are frustrated by the cop's actions, saying he was just impressed by the expensive car.
In our opinion, though, it's sensible police work. A guy who drives a $100k car and who also owns an oil and gas company is not going to let a little ticket get in the way of his hooning. By engaging with the driver and showing a little decency, he's more likely to earn his respect.
So a question to you guys: good police work or simply pandering to the rich?
