We're A Little Bit In Love With Ken Block's New Ford Escort Cosworth
It’s new car time for professional tyre smoker Ken Block, and as you’d expect from the man with a 1400bhp all-wheel drive ‘Mustang’, it’s nothing run-of-the-mill.
It’s another Ford (Block’s partnership with the Blue Oval no doubt influencing the choice), and it’s a 1991 Escort Cosworth. In “period-correct” WRC spec. Oh yes.
While it may look like the fifth-generation Escort, the RS Cosworth version shares little in common with the standard car. Instead, Ford used the chassis and drivetrain from the Sierra RS Cosworth, cladding it in Escort body parts. Oh, and the designers added a ruddy-great whale tail rear wing.
As for Block’s rally-spec example, we can expect to see it tackling some “fun stage rallies and other projects,” but other than that, he’s remained relatively coy on his plans for the car. We can’t wait to see what he gets up to…

Yeah, but not for that (it’s a joke, before I get 20 downvotes)
ohhh
I hope he does a Gymkhana in that. It has the curves for filming.
Stupid question ahead: How expensive are these Cosworths?
0/10 not a celica st205
*not a ST185
Do you happen to know Jesse somehow?
He has great taste!
Yessss!!!
Wow, this Cosworth is quite tame compared to some of Block’s other cars. Appearance wise, that is! That interior is perfect.
