This Is What A 46G, Head-On Crash Looks Like
Giuliano Alesi was driving in GP3 practice at the Red Bull Ring in Austria when a brake problem caused him to go straight into the barrier at Turn 1. The 46G impact has ruled him out of the rest of the weekend
Giuliano, son of former F1 driver Jean Alesi, is quoted by Autosport as saying that the crash measured 46G and he had “no brakes”. He was able to get out of the car unharmed but has been ruled out of the rest of the weekend by doctors.

After a 46g impact, he’s pretty lucky to be alive at all.
It always impresses me when I see how far safety technology has come in modern race cars. If that would have happened 10 years ago, I wouldn’t even want to imagine the outcome.
46G? Wow he went to the future after that crash cuz in the present world, we only have 5G connectivity.. :D
Haha very funny. Even if you knew the difference of the G in 46G and G in 5G, it is still a very bad joke.

Does anybody know where I can watch the GP2 and GP3 series for free? I’m in Austria and only SKY shows it, so is there a livestream maybe?
Also pretty surprised, but happy he escaped this crash at 46G!

lol
The fact that he survived 46g with a virtually intact car aside from the font, shows how rigid and safe those cars are +1 for safety
Speed?
Fast, like more than hundred.
Without the Hans, he wouldn’t have survived.
Looks like fun to me!!
Then there’s Kenny Brack, Texas 2003, 214 g’s.
