This Is What Happens When You Don't Tighten Your Damn Wheel Nuts
This car's wheel flies off its hub, narrowly avoids a truck and then hits oncoming traffic

This Russian dash-cam footage gives us lot a valuable lesson of what happens when you don't check the state of your shitbox before heading out on the roads.

Watch the video below, where the driver of this Mk3 VW Golf has his journey cut short after his offside rear wheel decides to go for a wander in spectacular style.

The tyre darts straight into traffic (narrowly avoiding a van), bounces against an oncoming car like a football, and is launched back towards our dash-cam-equipped camera car.

Our guess here is that this Golf driver simply forgot to tighten his wheel nuts after a tyre change, the dramatic effect of which was probably sped up by these atrocious road surfaces.
