When A Rally Driver Tells His Co-Driver To "Shut Up", You Know They're Having A Bad Time
As a rally driver, you depend highly on the notes and instructions of your co-driver. You know, to stay on the track and know what corners are coming up.
However, this driver obviously feels he can do better by himself, telling his rather frantic co-driver in Kimi Raikkonen-esque style: "shut up; don't tell me how to drive."
The man behind the wheel is wealthy businessman Samir Thapar who was taking part in the Rally of Coimbatore - part of the Indian National Rally Championship - driving a Mitsubishi Evo 10. His rather worried co-driver is Vivek Ponnusamy.
The hilarious video is a mix of clips from three stages of the rally - all of which can be viewed in full on this channel.
Despite his co-driver's best efforts, Thapar ignores commands and takes corners at his own pace. This results in the destruction of many an innocent bush, sign and wooden pole. A spectator nearly gets it too.
Have a watch and be sure to stick around to the end for the epic final line.
