Police chases normally tend to be frantic affairs, but the pair of burglary suspects you see here are remarkably calm and jovial about being hunted down by the authorities. They were spotted in a Ford Mustang convertible with the top partially down, performing donuts, weaving in and out of traffic and later sharing high-fives, hugs and selfies with several members of the public.

The chase began around 2pm and ended just over an hour later when the two men surrendered themselves to police.
