You Can Buy A Bentley Mulsanne That's Eaten A Crash Barrier
We’d love to know the circumstances behind the huge crash this Bentley Mulsanne was involved in. Why? Because it has a ruddy great piece of crash barrier running through it.
The car’s currently up for auction at a branch of salvage firm Copart in Gaston, Carolina, with the bidding at $5800 at time of writing. It looks like there’s actually quite a lot to salvage on the driver’s side of the car, but as for the other side? Well, let’s hope no one was sitting there at the time.
We have seen these kinds of accidents crop up in the past, most infamously with F1 driver Robert Kubica, whose right forearm ended up partially severed in a horrific rally crash in 2011.
Here’s hoping whoever was in this Bentley at the time of its skewering escaped without suffering serious injury.

Slightly used, some bits and scratches, a lot of extras like new exhaust system, new tyres and extra safety bars on the passenger side.
Gaston, Carolina,
Yeah there are two carolinas so you should fix that.
this is in South Carolina
Does it come with the crash barrier?
Hoovies Garage …
After all, Bentley is famous for their finely-crafted wood and metal interior trims…
I’d take that driver side front seat, provided it isn’t brown in certain areas, and mount it up to a computer chair mount. Would be the best computer chair ever.
Built in crash barrier? I’m interested…
Extra safety!! Oh wait its not gonna be able to move ohh uhm..
uuuh samcrac?
Well, someone could buy this, take the barrier out and use it as a bumper for their own car, while they turn the Mulsanne…I don’t know, into a desk, sofa, parts car, engine table…
