This mid-engined, rear-wheel drive sports car is nothing short of legendary. Developed with the help of F1 icon, Ayrton Senna, the NSX was powered by a 3.0-litre VTEC V6 with 274hp.

Thanks to extensive use of aluminium, the NSX was light (1370kg), incredibly nimble and, above all, fast; 60mph took just 5.0 seconds and eight seconds later (13sec) you'd have covered the quarter mile.

These days, prices for the NSX hover at the £30k mark, but Senna's own cars (the Brazilian triple champion used to have three) have been know to reach four times that amount.
