This YouTuber Had His Lotus Elise Stolen At Gunpoint In Paris

YouTuber Seb Delanney had his distinctive Elise Club Racer taken during a car jacking in France last night

Having a car stolen is one of a petrolhead’s biggest fears, and the terror of having your ride taken at gunpoint isn’t something we’d even want to contemplate. Sadly that’s what’s happened to Seb Delanney, a 19-year-old YouTuber from Monaco well known for collaborations with the likes of Shmee150 and Seen Through Glass.

I've just woken up to some of the scariest news I could ever imagine hearing, my friends @sebdelanney and Josh were car jacked at gun point in Paris last night. Seb's Lotus Club Racer (a pretty distinct car in satin black with red highlights and a rather loud Larini exhaust) is currently location unknown but the boys are ok and safe which is by far the most important thing. We need serious news, and serious news only, on anything that could help with this.

Speaking about the incident on Snapchat this morning, Delanney said “last night my car was stolen. Myself and my friend Josh were held at gunpoint and had to run with a guy pointing a gun at us through Paris.”

Fortunately, Seb’s Elise Cup Racer is particularly distinctive thanks to a matte black finish with red accents, which greatly helps the chance of it being spotted. Make sure you keep an eye out!

The car was spotted in Villiers-le-Bel, north of Paris at around 13.00

That sucks so bad. I’ve had a vehicle stolen before and it wasn’t by car jacking, let alone at gun point. That was unnerving enough, can’t imagine what that dudes feeling. Hope it gets recovered.

The car jacker obviously has some nerve to jack such an eye-catching car. Hope it will be found soon

Owning supercars? Yes of course. Putting gps in them for safety? Aw hell naw…

well I have put my old android Phone (worth around 20€) in it with a prepaid sim. And a Programm which activates GPS via SMS… So I can track it with track my Android… A good Thing when you have some nerdy friends…they know stuff. Connected to battery…. I sadly don`t know how safe the System is.
