You've Never Seen A Chevrolet Caprice With This Many Mods Thrown At It
This once humble, ex-police Chevy Caprice has had thousands of dollars of mods thrown at it, with an LS3 V8 under the bonnet, completely reworked suspension and a host of modern creature comforts inside
At the request of a client with very specific needs, this humble, low-value Caprice has been given an incredibly thorough modernisation by a firm called Icon. We’re talking a 6.2-litre LS3 V8 under the bonnet, customs wheels designed to look stock, completely reworked suspension and creature comforts like Apple Car Play and Rolls Royce carpets.
The cost of the work must run into tens of thousands of dollars, all for a car which originally will have cost peanuts. But that’s what makes this project so fascinating, particularly as the car doesn’t even look like it’s had that much money spent on it. The stock ‘interceptor’ aesthetic has been retained, so it still flies under the radar.
What do you think of this curious beast?

Looks like a car you would use to transport illegal stuff in. Fly under the radar and if detected fly off the radar.
This should be in comment of the week
When someone tries to race the owner:
man like Jeremy Corbyn rolling up to the Commons in an LS3 Caprice.
Can I have it? haha
Wow, I think they’ve done a pretty good job of integrating those lights into the bumper
it somehow reminds me of a bmw e38 7 series that was modified by vilner
Does anyone know the cost of the build ?
The fact that its the same guy who builds the icon fj im guessing above 50k
Realy like this build, but everything nice and black, alcantara headliner and they didnt change or paint the pillars? That grinds my gears!
Reminds me of my buddy’s modded 2003 Impala that’s going to be featured on The Smoking Tire!
Stay tuned for a trailer I plan to make for his car!
All he now needs is a “V6 on board sticker” #ExpectTheUnexpected
