Problems with American Muscle wheels

I recently purchased American Muscle Saleen wheels 18x9 with MT Street comp and when they first arrived 1 tire was improperly mounted and 2 were pretty scratched up so I sent them an email and they were happy to send me 3 new wheels. No problems with customer service but now when I received the new ones they seem very unbalanced as my steering wheel will shake badly over 40 mph. I know they’re pretty cheap but I figured they’re cheap because they’re cast and heavy not because they can’t even be balanced as one wheel has 15 weights on it which is absurd. I think at this point I might just file for a refund and spend the extra cash for higher quality wheels.

Anyone else have problems with American Muscle wheels?

Lol yup. I can attest to the same issue. Good wheels ain’t cheap, and cheap wheels ain’t good. Lesson learned for me!

Yup going see what I can do about them if I can even return them since I drove a little on them. If not I guess my next bet would to see if someone can hopefully balance them properly. Lesson learned 😅

Got alway a reason why you pay less … Cant not expect the same quality for a 90 bucks rims was the same as a 300 bucks rims

Yup I didn’t mind them being cast and heavy since I don’t really track the car or race it since it had good reviews on the website I figured I’d go for it…. didn’t think they’d be bad enough where I can barely keep control learned my lesson now 😭

I have american muscle wheels, the 2010 gt500 replicas. They look great but aren’t balanced at all. They shake hard from like 45 mph to 60mph
