Toyota MR2 222D Group S

Two versions of this car were built, one with rear wheel drive and one with Xtrac four wheel drive. Three different engines were tested: a 2.1L 503E LeMans GTP engine, a 2.1L 4T-GTE from a Celica TCT and an unknown V6. Power was roumered to be 600HP all round and up to 750HP available. The weight of the RWD variant was claimed to be 750KG which paired with 750HP would give this an astonishing 1:1 power to weight ratio.

11 prototypes were roumered to have been built, with most destroyed during crash tests leaving only 3 left a white and 2 blacks.

The normal pop-up headlights were replaced for fixed paired with rally spotlights attached to the lightweight composite body also included a rear opening back for easy engine access.
