Top 5 JDM Engines

Ok so i thought i would make a list of 5 most iconic JDM engines. So here they are….

1. 2JZ-GTE

The 2JZ-GTE was a inline six-cylinder twin-turbocharged Toyota engine. It was produced from 1991 to 2002. It had a output of 206kw(276hp) and 320 lbft. The 2JZ-GTE was originally used in the Toyota Aristo V, but later it came to to the Toyota Supra A80.

2. RB26DETT

The RB26DETT is also a inline six-cylinder and is also twin-turbocharged. Oh and it also has 206 kw (276hp) but it has less torque 289 lbft. The RB26DETT was used in the Nissan GTR R32,R33,R34 and in the Nissan Stagea.

3.EJ20k

EJ20K was a 4-cylinder boxer engine with a single turbo. It produces 219 kw (295 hp). It was used in the Subaru Imbreza WRX 97-98 and Subaru Imbreza WRX STI.

4. 13B-REW

The 13B-rew was a 1.3 wankel engine. It was twin-turbocharged and produced 206 kw (276hp).It was continually used in Japan from 1972-2002 that means it was produced for 30 years!

5. K20A

The K20A is a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder engine with vteeec BROOOOO which engaged at 6000 RPM. It was produced from 2001-2011. It produced 158 kw (212hp) and 149 lbft. It was used in Honda Civic Type R 2001-2006, Honda Accord Euro R 2002-2008, Honda Integra Type R 2001-2006 and Honda Civic Type R 2007-2011.
