Does anyone have the thrustmaster tx(leather edition) with this power cable? If so how do I keep it connected to my wheel base?

I have the Thrustmaster T300RS (the cable is the same). What’s the problem with the cable?
Whatever i do the cable wont stay connected to the wheel base. The lights turn on and the wheel starts calibrating but then it stops. And when i move the cable the wheel turns again. What can i do
