How to add cheats to PCSX2 .pnach method (Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3)
As with most emulators, you can add cheats onto PCSX2. What I’m here to show you is how to do it. (I will skip a step due to the fact that a good chunk of codes don’t really need that step, including the example I’m using, but if you want me to do it in other posts, I can. I’m no longer active here, so I won’t be able to answer this part anymore, it’s been ~4 years since I’ve written this post.)
So to begin, we need to start with the code itself. Personally, I like to use this post http://www.neoseeker.com/forums/6909/t329675-txr3-gameshark-version-2-3-codes-enjoy/
Keep that page tabbed as you’re going to need to use it later.
Next, go to the console and find the game code, and copy it (edit: to have the game code show up, you need to run it at least once after startup). (omit the 0x part)
Make a .txt file (notepad, whatever apple uses, etc.) and paste the name of game code you just copied as the name of the file.
Go the the PCSX2 program folder (C:\Program Files\PCSX2) and find the folder that says “Cheats”.
Open up the “Cheats” and save the .txt file there.
Open the .txt file (if you closed it) and format it EXACTLY like this. (btw, you put the codes you copied here if it wasn’t obvious)
Then save the completed .txt to the “Cheats” folder and turn it into a .pnach file by changing .txt at the end of the name to .pnach
Finally, go to the PCSX2 system tab on the top left and click on “enable cheats”.
When you boot up whatever game, the console should look like this. (note the green text that says that the cheats were found, with the comment below and that they were indeed loaded.)
And that’s it. Enjoy the endless amount of overpowered-ness.

Works!
No help at all, trying to use cheats for Gundam Warriors 2 but most cheats are more than 2 codes and your guide is for only 2.
So how does that work??
