#carspottingblog Game Over: Cars with engines above 3,000cc can no longer be imported into Indonesia now. (and might be declared as non street-legal)
Yup. The nightmare has started folks. You can now say bye bye to any kind of new exotic cars in Indonesia.
This means, no AMG models, BMW M Models, Audi RS models, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porsche 911 models, McLarens, Aston Martins and more. Certain luxury SUVs and sedans will also be affected.
Even though Indonesia had a nice share amount of exotics, it’s now game over. It’s also now all about time before cars with engines above 3,000cc were declared not street-legal (rumor), which would somehow only making JDM cars (e.g. Skyline GT-Rs and Supras) the only things that will still be street legal.
RIP Indonesian Exotic car scene ???-2018
Read the article here: (if you didn’t understand Bahasa Indonesia, you can always use translator)
If somehow cars above 3,000cc were declared not street-legal in Indonesia, these will be the only nice cars you can spot in Indonesia’s streets. JDMs will be the most (except 350Z, 370Z, R35 GT-R and NA2 NSX), as seen below. (A big difference and upside down as what used to be Indonesia’s car spotting scenery, which was exotics)

They clearly don’t understand engines. More CC /= more fuel consumption or more emissions
You don’t say, these governments wont give a single flying f*ck to what the peoples complain since they only care about using the country’s financial to fund their private needs.
At least we get to to keep most JDMs but even so this is stupid
Lucky I live in Scotland
How tf does this make sense
Well that’s shit.
But why?
Wtf why
What the fck why?? That’s crap
Nobody said anything about importing the car and engine seperatly
But, as stated in the article cars with engines over 3000CC, no matter if they were imported or not, might not be street legal anymore.
RIP importing R35 (3.8 L) u will be missed
