What's the difference between a 180sx and a 240sx ????

180sx is Japan’s version the 240sx the USAs version

Engine mostly. but that is not a rule. because in Japan S13 Hatch was sold named 180sx with SR20DET (2.0l) and CA18DET (1.8l). But in ‘Murica it was named 240SX because of KA24DE (2.4l). But Coupe version was named Silvia. another thing is that S14 was named only 200sx, but I’m not exactly shure about this one.

200sx is the name that the s13 and s14 had in europe, they sheared the same engines as in japan, but changed the name because they though it would sell better

240sx is us lhd version, 180sx is japan version rhd. 200sx is euro version btw

Many differences. Japan vs USA. Engines. Chassis. 180sx is only the S13 hatch, while the 240 is spread across different chassis’.
