Mk3 TT steering wheel on A3 8P
So, I noticed than some of the A3 8V steering wheel has been retrofitted to the A3 8P successfully, as well as some TT Mk3 steering wheel fitted to an A3 8V. My question is : has anyone ever heard or seen a TT Mk3 (8S) steering wheel on a A3 8P (2004-2012) ? What is working on it and what’s not (in case of the multifunction one) ? Thanks !

None of it. Airbag in the 8p was from 2003-2004 single stage, after 2005 it was dual stage. The TT 8s aiebag is one stage adaptive. All these systems arent compatible. Multifunktion will not work too, it uses different CAN protocols. Your only way to a new steering wheel is when you own a 8p with single stage, you can place a A1 airbag in an 8V wheel in your car.
