Drive it like you stole it when on sand. Unless you’re in an X5, in which case you’ll be laughed at for thinking it’s an off road capable vehicle.
“Do no floor it when stuck”…. You sir have obviously never done real offroading or mud bogging. For those of us that have clearance, gnarly tires and lockers we just dig our way forward and out of the hole. For little mall crawlers and Land Rovers though, your advice holds true.
You have obviously also never had an old (late ‘80s-early ‘90s) Jeep because the only way to get it into 4 low is to drive at 1-3 mph, pop it into neutral, then put it is 4 low then into first gear. This is the method that is in the official 1988 Jeep Comanche Owners manual. Its pretty much the only way it works too. If you try to do it while stopped, it will pop out every damn time.
You have obviously never spent any time doing any aggressive rock crawling so here watch this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mE8rSFE7_0Y) as someone who actually owns a tube frame buggy crawler, please stop talking about stuff you know nothing about. Anyone who has been real crawling knows that yes traction is important and sometimes you just gotta get up the obstacle with massive amounts of wheel spin and V8 power.
Just because you went down some dirt hills and some 6” deep mud puddles doesn’t mean you know what you are talking about amigo. Might want to gain a little bit more exposure and knowledge before you make a video. If you are anywhere near SoCal for the next month hit me up, I’ll take you out and help you expand your exposure
