Can You Start A Lada That's Spent Six Months At The Bottom Of A Lake?
This Samara spent a winter underwater, but will the guys from Garage 54 manage to get it started with some persuasion?
You wouldn’t like the chances of a car starting again after spending an extended period of time underwater, would you? Particularly if said period of time is as long as six months.
That’s how long this vehicle has spent languishing at the bottom of a lake, but it isn’t just any car: it’s a simple, robust Lada Samara. Granted, it looks to be in an unfortunate state, with the roof having been crushed when the surface of the lake froze over, but due to the lack of complexity under the bonnet, it could still cough into life.
The guys from Garage54 give the Samara a fighting chance by flushing the coolant, cleaning up some of the electrical components and adding fresh oil, but will that be enough? Have a watch of the video to find out.

There is no known way to kill a Lada….that car is far too tough!
There are two indesreuctible cars a toyota hilux and a lada
Of course you can.
Lada>Volvo
That will cause a huge explosion so we’d rather stay put :)
In my opinion, Volvos too are just as indestructible as Ladas…
The simplicity of the lada makes it so reliable……OH FCK IT who am I kidding with this? It’s russian and its a lada.nuff said
There will be two cars at the end of the universe so tough that even the Universe collapsing couldnt destroy, All Ladas and the Toyota Hilux
Ladas never die

Still better condition than most Ladas on the road
Now I see why they called “Samara”; It came from the death, but instead of beign dropped off from a water tank, it’s on a lake.
