Car Cameo: Peter Griffin Is A Three Pointed Star Guy

Many well-know faces just love a good old-fashioned Merc. Owners include Charlie Sheen, Kelly Brook, Ben Affleck, Kris Jenner, Jay-Z and even Justin Bieber. But if you were watching Family Guy on Sunday you would have seen fictional, layabout Dad, Peter Griffin, declaring his love for the three-pointed star.

In the episode, news arrives of a shipment of Mercs sinking near Quahog, Rhode Island which gets Griffin very excited indeed. Whilst searching for the missing stock he encounters a talking dolphin by the name of Billy Finn, voiced by Ricky Gervais, and asks him to fetch one of the sunken cars. Many would be quite annoyed if all they got back was the bonnet emblem but for Peter Griffin that works just fine.

Not only does he sleep next to the hood ornament instead of his wife, he also manages to find a second star to make the perfect pair of earrings! Don't worry if you missed the latest episode of Family Guy because it's back on BBC Three on Saturday night at 11:05. Which leads us to the question of the day.
