Driver Escapes With Minor Injuries After Huge Sign Drops On Her Car
This is definitely a dashcam video that’s in ‘clench’ territory. The footage above shows the moment when a huge motorway sign detached from an overhead gantry and fell onto a moving car on Tuesday, and it makes for scary viewing.
Thankfully, the 53-year-old driver escaped serious injury when the huge chunk of metal fell onto her Hyundai Sante Fe on the Tullamarine Highway in Melbourne, Victoria.
The Sante Fe looks to have taken one hell of a beating in the bizarre accident, which left much of the roof caved in. The driver somehow suffered only minor neck injuries, for which she was treated at Royal Melbourne hospital.
It’s not yet known why the sign fell. An investigation is now underway, and other signs in the area affixed the same way are being checked as a precaution.

Final Destination IRL.
Nah, it would have been Final Destination if the sign would have fell half a second later to literally cut the car (and probably the driver) in two
If someone was sitting at the back or passenger he would dead …
The thing is this is in Australia, so the car is right-hand drive. It’s a miracle this woman survived.
Don’t worry people, he just wanted to take a closer look and the sign collaborated, move along
As if Australian animals weren’t dangerous enough, even the road signs want us dead!
Told you Australia was dangerous
Daaamn even the signs want to kill people, i thought it was bad with (some of) the trees there.
I thought this only happened to Morris Marinas…
