If you've ever wondered what a Style A looks like
You may have seen photos of them in brochures on articles where they often only give you photos of a perfect-looking car, renders, partial or small images of the car which often make it look better than real life.
After a quick search, I found a Style-A for sale at Garage-R in Japan. I’m not in Japan so these images are from the dealer - but they give you a raw look at the Style-A.
I don’t mind the large grille, but just be glad this car hasn’t made it to western shores where there is a 99% chance that the owner would throw the unique Ferrari-inspired bumper in the bin and fit a URAS fibreglass bodykit because it looks “cool”.
Inside you get a glorious two-tone leather interior reminiscent of a Peugeot 406 Coupe. You can tell by the state of the leather that this car has been well looked after by its Japanese owner.
Another view of the interior - I would kill to have a factory shift knob that still looks as good as that.
Now for the drawback: despite being an Autech version, it doesn’t have that famous Autech tune-up. Instead it has the base-model SR20DE that produces 164HP.
I would swap the engine for the Autech SR20DE with 200HP, but everything in the engine bay looks so good I wouldn’t want to touch it at all.
If you are interested, you can have a look here. The price is about $8,000USD before shipping, compliance and tax.
