Here's The Aftermath Of The First C8 Corvette Crash
Here it is, the first-ever C8 Corvette crash. This Elkhart Lake Blue example was heavily damaged in a smash in California’s Yosemite National Park, with the aftermath caught on the video you see above. It wasn’t a gentle knock, either - three cars look to have been involved, with a Ford Ranger and a Chevrolet Equinox caught up in the mess.
The Equinox looks particularly worse for wear in this aftermath video - it’s missing a rear wheel. The Corvette itself is almost certainly a write-off too, with extensive front-end damage from a front-overlap crash and multiple airbags deployed. Thankfully, it looks as though everyone is up and walking following the incident, and we haven’t seen any reports of serious injuries.
With customer deliveries some way off, the deceased ‘Vette was likely a pre-production prototype, which may have been destined for the crusher anyway. It was reportedly driving in a convoy of C8s and other General Motors vehicles.
If you look carefully in the footage, you can see what appears to be a camera mounted on the roof. Although even if it was rolling at the time of the crash, we’d be surprised if the footage ever makes it online.

true american car
I don’t agree, I say it’s more like an Italian car, the c7 was a true American car
All that tells me is, it won’t take long till some Automotive Youtuber gets one from Copart. And I can’t wait.
good news :D
Bruh was this the same Corvette that was in the Donut Media Bumper 2 Bumper video?
Maybe
If so rip
The more photos I see of the new corvette the more it looks like a bad kit car.
