I did Top 5 JDM engines so now is the time to do German engines, do not worry other countrys will come,but later because i have to finish this one first…..Enjoy!(My fav engines)

1. 6.3 AMG (M156)

The M156 is naturally aspirated V8 designed by Mercedes-AMG.Although it displaces 6.208 liters it is marketed as 6.3 to commemorate the famed 6.3 M100. The original M156 had an output of 354kw(475hp) and 464 lbft, later it had an output up to 386kw(518hp).

2. 2.1 liter Audi I5

It was an 2.1 liter (2.144) inline 5 10v SOCH with a turbocharger and a intercooler. It produced 147 kw(197hp) and 210 lbft.It was used in the famous (my favourite) group b car The Audi Quattro. Later it was modified to 2.2 liters(2.226 liters).

3. VolksWagen Group 8.0 W16

The quad-turbocharged 8.0(7.993) liter W16 is a true masterpiece.It produces 1001 metric hp(736kw) and 992 lbft. It is used in the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 and the new Bugatti Chiron but the Chiron has a more powerfull W16 1103 kw (1479 hp).

4. Porsche 3.6 flat 6 Air Cooled

The Air Cooled 3.6 liter Flat 6 Twin turbocharged porsche engine is the last air cooled porsche 911 engine. It originally produced 316kw(424 hp) but later it was upgraded to 331kw(444). It was produced from 1990 to 1998.

5. S65B40 BMW V8

The S65 4.0 V8 is Naturally aspirated beast that revs up to 8450rpm and that is a v8!! It produces 309 kw (414hp) and 300 lbft .It was introduced in the e92 M3.

What about the 5.2 Litre V10 that was in the Audi RS6, S6, R8 and Lamborghini Gallardo and what about the BMW M5 V10

Yeah i thought about it,but there wasn’t enough space for it…

There are some BMW Straight 6’s missing here

I know just didn’t want to put 2 BMW engines on that list

The story behind that mistake was that i was going to do top 5 American engines, but i ran out of ideas and changed it to top 5 german engines,but i didn’t change the category.
