Just my humble opinion, but Van Halen songs are a gimmick with music wrapped around them - one song is just a pick-slide up and down the string with music attached to it, humans being is just him playing with a sustainer, another is the talking guitar, some were just like 2 seconds of 2-handed tapping. I’m sure they were mind-blowing back in the day.
