Swedish POWAH, 16 liters, 730 hp and 3500 nm of torque
3.8 v8 from 570s and the jaguar f type.
The engine in the Mac is known as the M838T (M840T in the 720S)
427, 426, LS, LT, and Coyote
Chevy’s LS6 - that thing was a beast for its time 💪
5.2 “Voodoo” V8 in the Shelby GT350. Best sound ever from a V8. Hands down.
F136
The AJ-V8, most notably used in the Jaguar XKR and the Aston-Martin Vantage. There’s a short anecdote about it:
At the time, Jaguar was owned by Ford, and they wanted them to use standardised FoMoCo-engines, but they granted Jaguar a budget to develop a VVT-system for the Ford Modular V8. Instead of using that budget to develop the VVT system, they developed a their own AJ-V8. Ford obviously didn’t like that, but upon testing the Ford Modular Engine aganist the AJ-V8, the Jaguar design was running much smoother and much more efficiently than the Ford design. As a result, Ford used the AJ-V8 in their higher-end cars (Lincoln) and their own design in utility vehicles and the Mustang.
Hmm. What year of Mustang? My god can they make a V8 sound good
