1993 Toyota Corolla FXGT

I purchased this Toyota Corolla FXGT a couple months back for only $600 because it wasn’t road legal and it wouldn’t idle and the owner couldn’t afford to dump cash into it to try get it working properly. Threw fake plates on the car and drove it down about 100kms from my city. Bought a new ECU for it as they’re common problems on the ST 20V 4AGE motor’s. When that didn’t fix it I took it to a mechanic to see if he could see what the problem was and he simply said the intake manifold wasn’t bolted down properly. Did exactly what he said and she idled at 1.8k RPM, so I did some twiddling and tweaking with the TPD sensor & throttle cable to try get it to a lower RPM. Currently sits just over 1k. Still have a lot to do to this car, but at the moment she’s a perfect daily driver for me (when i get new springs lmfao), and I can’t wait to see how she turns out in the end!! Super stoked to be back in the Toyota game 🤟🏽
