Slovenia - Filming location for many new car adverts

In advert for Škoda Karoq I noticed something … It is a part of the road on slovenian coast (at 15 seconds in the video). So a part of the video was filmed in Slovenia.

This is an advert for Porsche 911 Carrera T. It was filmed on the road to mangartsko sedlo. Basically this is a road that leads to nowhere. Some say that it is the most beautiful mountain road in Slovenia. It leads through some nice tunnels as you will see in the video. On the road there are multiple places that you can stop and enjoy the view. If you want to drive on you have to pay a toll.

So why do car makers film here? Answer is simple: Slovenia is a small country with many different landscapes. On day one you can be filming on the seaside, next day you can have a shot of a car tearing up a mountain pass. You can drive from one end of Slovenia to another in less than three hours.
