1997 Honda Civic EJ9 1.4i S

My first car

So nearly a year ago in october I finally got my license and also “little” buzz to drive any car that I got my hands on. My dad has “97 civic EJ9 1.4is sedan that has done 310k km (192k miles) and still kicking without any signs own skipping a beat. That was my first “hooning” vehicle for that winter and that car thought me a lot about car control in really slippery conditions ( bad studed tires and finnish winter roads) and I loved to bits. And on top of that I prefer Japanese car over anything else so thats why the car had a little place in my heart .

So time flies to September 2018 and lots of things have changed. I moved in to my first apartment, I have a steady but stressful job and I finally have space and funds to get my first car. all kinds of ideas were thrown to me from everything from RWD volvos and 2.0 turbo legacy’s to 200€ toyota starlets that are falling apart. But after 1 week of really active searching this blue civic pops up for 1200€ and immediately when I saw it, I fell in love with it. I made a deal with the previous owner and then the purchase was made.

Now I have owned for a month and I still have the same buzz that I had when I got my license. Only small mods has been done like mesh grill, simple detailing, gran turismo sticker in the rear window and repainted winter wheels. Winter wheels are borbet C rims in actual BBS STI gold. More mods are going to be installed after the long wait of car parts. Right now I am waiting for DND performance steering wheel with purple stitching and black hub.
