Seriously, they’re very overrated here IMO. Every time I hear someone favors it over other names, I get sick of it.
I’m talking about non-performance models (and some AMG-badged models too), not models like the SLS AMG, 190E Evo, Project One, etc.

As a MB trained Technician. I can say that they are not overrated. Mercedes Benz vehicles are some of the best cars you can buy used.
The thing is some models aren’t worth their price tags due to the lack of some features (well, that’s what some of them say), we call them “ Milo tin kosong” (empty Milo can in Malay).
Or that one cocc who buys the 2012 316i because it’s the cheapest BMW and still won’t stop talking about his new beee emmm
There are cases about some Chinese people who buy Mercedes’ via installments solely for Chinese New Year & they end up regretting it afterwards due to the pricey costs.
Mercedes is a decent brand, but youve never seen a VW or BMW biased guy… oh boy
Different countries have different manufacturer-biased people, mine may not be identical as yours.
