Yes, this is a porsche!

Even though it doesn’t have any porsche emblems this is actually a car from the german powerhouse.
Back in 1994 the Chinese government asked multiple big car manufacturers for a new range of cheap
family cars.
And about 4 months later this baby was born.

The porsche was only about 4 meters long and weigh only 980kg.
the car was fitted with a 1.1 liter 4-pot with a whopping 67hp
fitted with a 5-speed manual the 0-100 time was 16 seconds and a top speed of 165 km/h
but the car was only gonna cost about €4000 so it wasnt gonna be that amazing…

3 versions of the c88 were designed but only the compact 4 door sedan was ever build but
it looked like the chinese government only wanted to have a look into the german kitchen
because after all the asked brands showed a car the project was scrapped
