Been trying for months. My foot’s too big to do actual heel and toe, but too small to do big toe little toe.
What size shoes do you wear?
I can’t do it.. haha I suck haha just don’t downshift 😂 v6 powa
Its just not possibe sometimes I tried to make sure i could do it im my z Even hammered the trans tunnel a little while i was swaping interiors Foot still catches every now and then Maybe its because i wear size 12 converse though ¯_(ツ)_/¯
I’ve seen debate on whether or not you release the clutch pedal like double clutching.
If you choose to NOT double clutch it then here are the steps:
1) depress clutch pedal while your right foot toes press brake
2) rotate foot until you have heel above accelerator
3) while downshifting, “blip” the throttle to get engine RPM to desired level
4) once this has been done release clutch and brake pedals and accelerate normally PRACTICE IN A STATIONARY VEHICLE
Does the gearnob have to be in the new gear or in neutral when you rev the engine (because of gears getting accelerated) or is it irrelevant? (Clutch presst at all times)
One of the most important things is to know how much to ‘blip’ the throttle. Try and master rev matching first as it will help in showing you how much to blip the throttle. After that you need to find the most comfortable and easy way for you to brake and blip the throttle in terms of foot placement. Some people literally heel and toe. Others use both sides of their feet to reach both the brake pedal and throttle. This also depends on your pedal placement. One thing that i found hardest was keeping smooth braking. I used to end up braking very harshly while trying to blip the throttle. Hope this helps in some way
It’s easy, just need some practice. I heel and toe downshift like a boss in the GTD.
Brake, clutch, downshift, blip the throttle.
It’s a shame I only know how to do it on a Dualshock 4.
It’s not much better if you can only do it on a G27 either.
I can only tell you this it takes A LOT of practice and I always double clutch also you might wanna practice rev matching first it’s gonna help you and ofc as you’d guess every car has a favorite rev

Ian Wright you probably know how…
