1996 Toyota Celica ST-205 GT-FOUR

Released in 1994, the ST205 was Toyota’s latest road going version of its rally powerhouse. Based on the newest Celica platform it is again quite a visual evolution on previous models. Gone were the pop-up lights in favour of the affectionately termed “bug-eyed” fixed four headlight configuration and featured the 3rd generation 3S-GTE powerplant. Rated out of the box at 245hp it had a larger and more efficient CT20b turbo, an all-new ECU, better fuelling and a return to the water-to-air intercooler setup. Suspension and braking were also updated and the ST205 came from the factory on 16” alloys. A special WRC model was also available in the ST205 variant and 2500 of these models were produced, again to satisfy FIA rules. A facelift which contained some minor exterior changes came in 1997 and production ceased in 1999. Actual or approximate production numbers of the ST205 appear to be difficult to source.

I am most proud of my handling mods but as for speed mods, yes, currently 3 inch custom pipe exhaust and HKS air filter along with Apexi Power FC ECU. In 2 weeks time it will become front mount inter-cooler and fuel reg, lastly refune on Power FC :D
