1. I‘d start with chassis rigidity aka Hardtop, Delrin Doorbushings, crossbar, maybe even bracing or a Rollbar.

2. Suspension + Wheels & Tires

3. 14° Timing advance

4. If you want performance you can go the FI route or skim the head + 421 Headers.
   This is most effective with the 1.8l, with skimming the 1.6 you’ll introduce the risk of knock very soon. Note: you can NOT run the timing mod with the skimmed head

5. 1.8 EXIntake Mod or BP4W Head

My only mods are wheels, tires and ceramamic pads. Have a rollbar waiting for install soon
