Carfession: Even though I own 2 GM Square bodies I do not actually think that they are the best looking (or best overall) truck ever made..
The reason that I am saying this is because time and time again people say that the Chevy/GMC square body, particularly the one built through the 80s, is “such a good looking truck” and although yes that may be true I can’t help but think…… really? That’s your pick? You don’t think that the 57 Apache or first gen Ram looks better than plain square lines?
^The gen 2 (my personal favourite) next to my first square body.
That’s just a little speel that I had to get out.

I love squarebodies but I would take a 1st gen cummins over it
If I were to buy a THIRD truck (god forbid) it’d be a first gen Ram as well.
To me, this is peak vintage truck. Fargo Sweptside is a close second
40s/50s/60s are 👌
And I’d pick an IH Scout II over a Blazer as well.
I think a lot of people like Square bodies for their simplistic look. Plus, since GM kept the same overall design over the years, it probably makes finding spare or replacement parts pretty dang easy.
It’s like the longest running generation for a vehicle model ever. 73-87. 91 if you count the suburbans, Blazers, and crew cabs.
Honestly man I like square body’s but u may call me weird but I just love these rams
I like the 63 GMC heavy trucks.
I love these old Square bodies…
Me too
That thing is sweeet
Thanks
