2001 Saturn SW2

My very first manual transmission car! It has a few issues I need to fix from the previous owner, but this should be not too difficult. Once I have it patched up and I’ve learned to drive it well enough, it will become my daily, saving me a bunch of gas on my previous one given the many many miles I drive a day to and from work. I hope to do some mods in the future to make it go zippier and look nicer, but only the future will tell what happens!

Yeah, the headlights are closer together than on most vehicles. Not /the most/ attractive face, but otherwise I find it rather appealing, especially for a station wagon.

Nice! My first car was a manual SL1. Super basic and super slow, but pretty reliable for the most part, and a great car to learn clutch on.

Thanks! If this is still anywhere around factory power figures it will be a little faster, due to different transmission gearing and a higher output DOHC engine, but regardless it has a much better power-to-weight ratio than my Pathfinder while getting twice the mpg, so I’m happy either way! It just has a couple issues I need to fix before I start doing some fun stuff to it, but regardless I think it looks good, it’s a lot more comfortable for me to sit in, and I’m starting to get some practice with the stick.

If you were to fabricate your own STi-style aero kit for the bumpers it might actually look good.

Whatever I do, I want to keep it fairly subtle, something that won’t look too out of ppace, but is enough to make it a little sportier.
