BREAKING NEWS: Sebastian Vettel To Retire From F1!

After a shock press release issued by Ferrari, 4-time WDC Seb Vettel has announced he will retire at the end of the 2021 Formula 1 season.

Due to raising my young family, I, with my wife, family and management, have decided to step away from Formula 1 at the end of the 2021 season. It would've been earlier, but the current state of Formula 1 doesn't allow me to leave with the send off that is suitable. This is a permanent step away from Formula 1, as my family are what's most important to me. Thank you all for the support. Here's to new opportunities. Sebastian Vettel #SV5

Sounds official then, he’s retiring. Who else is shocked by this announcement?? It’s sad to see him go, but it’s best for him and his family - big respect to the man.

There is no word yet as to who his replacement will be. Names such as Anontio Giovinazzi (most likely), Mick Schumacher and Robert Schwartzman are highly likely to take over. I guess only time will tell..
