This Mustang Was Torn Apart In A Brutal Street-Racing Crash

Somehow, the driver of this third-gen Ford Mustang survived a huge crash at a street race

We’re amazed anyone walked away from this one. Highlighting the dangers of racing on an unprepared surface flanked by unforgiving bits of road furniture you wouldn’t find at a proper track, a heavily-modified third-generation Ford Mustang is seen smashing into a telegraph pole at speed.

The car’s getting out of shape not long after leaving the line, before snapping back and swinging into the pole. The car is ripped open by the force of the impact, which was thankfully on the passenger side of the vehicle. The car didn’t have a roll cage, and the man wasn’t wearing a helmet.

The video shows the dazed driver being extracted, reportedly having suffered a broken jaw, lost teeth, and a broken shoulder. Considering the shocking state of the car - reduced to a twisted metal carcass - he’s extremely lucky.

When street racing, you are asking for accidents to happen. I don’t feel sorry for him at all. Act like an idiot and you will get served like an idiot. Channels like 1320 videos are the bane of the car community, all they do is glorify irresponsible and dangerous driving in public. Its America mate, go find a real drag strip and don’t do it on a motorway.

I would say that it might be ok to go fast on an empty road once in a while, but not pushing your car to its limits on a crowded highway or having actual drag races on public roads.

Not as dumb as street racing it with lots of people about. I’m glad he’s mostly ok, but I hope he gets some sort of driving ban.

The mustang was so depressed when the owner send it the opposite direction away from the crowd. There is no point to live anymore.
