The first generation

The second generation

The second generation of Kijang (KF20) Was launched at 1981.It’s still retained its boxy style.But.This generation of Kijang uses bigger engine than before.With 4K 1.3L engine.Later.Uses 5K engine 1.5L.The second generation Kijang is also nicknamed “Kijang Doyok” (An cartoon character from a newspaper in my country called Pos Kota).The transmition of this Kijang is still 4 Speed Manual.The second generation of Kijang facelifted on 1985.With more powerful 5K 1.5L engine.And rectangular headlamp.This generation of Kijang was the first Kijang with minibus option

The third generation

The third generation of Kijang (KF40/50) was launched at 1986.The engine that used by this generation of Kijang still uses the same engine as second generation.But later.The third generation of Kijang facelifted at 1992 and 1994.The 1994 Kijang uses the 7K engine.1.8L.With 4 Speed Manual (Only Base models and pickup model) and 5 Speed Manual.This generation of Kijang is the only Kijang that putty free.The Kijang uses a body structure called Toyota Original Body.This decrease the weight of Kijang up to 5kg.This Kijang also avaliable on a limited edition called Toyota Kijang Soeharto Series for celebrating 50 year of Indonesia independence day.And the.The Soeharto Series 2 for celebrating the second president of Indonesia.Soeharto’s birthday.The Soeharto Series Kijang was equiped with 4 Speed Automatic Transmiton.The price of Soeharto Series Kijang is At Rp 100.000.000 (Quite expensive that time)

Fourth generation

The fourth generation Kijang was launched at 1997.With 7K 1.8L petrol engine and 2L 2.4L diesel engine.Later.The 7K engine replaced by 7K-E 1.8L petrol engine with fuel injection system.And also.Avaliable in 1RZ-E 2.0L petrol engine that also used by Toyota Hilux.This Kijang was the last generation of Kijang.Later then.Kijang was replaced by Innova.The Kijang was discontinued at 2004.But.The pickup version still produced till 2007.Then.Replaced by Toyota Hilux Single Cabin 2.0L

The Kijang Innova was launched at 2004.With 1TR-FE 2.0L petrol engine.2TR-FE 2.7L petrol engine (Well Innova with 2TR engine was rare) .And 2KD-FTV 2.5L diesel engine option.This Kijang Innova produced from 2004 to 2015 with three times facelift.Before the second generation was launched at 2015
