Muscle, Euro and JDM: Their Enthusiasts Analyzed Through Surveys
For those of you who are unaware, I’ve been conducting some personality surveys recently targeted at certain audiences; those audiences are muscle fans, JDM fans and European car fans.
First off, let me talk about what from what I’ve seen what petrol heads here have in common.
A small get together with friends is prefered over a large party.
The two most cited genres of favorite music are rock and electronic music.
The order in importance for most enthusiasts for reasons for driving is fun, improving skills and winning.
Subtle and good looking clothes are the most popular, followed by down to earth style and lastly flashy clothes.
More people like to extensively modify cars than to do minor modifications.
More people think that car makers should stick with their roots than to constantly seek new technology.
More people like the outdoors than those who don’t.
The most popular movie genre is action, followed by comedy, documentaries, and then drama, rom coms and horror.
Now, let’s talk about what makes us different…
Muscle car enthusiasts love their rock music, JDM enthusiasts really like electronic music like eurobeat and dubstep while Euro enthusiasts have the most varied musical taste. Euro enthusiasts are more likely to listen to jazz and muscle car guys like country the most of the three groups.
Muscle car guys are slightly more likely to drive for fun comapred to everyone else but Euro and JDM enthusiasts drive more to improve their skills and to win compared to muscle enthusiasts.
European car enthusiasts are the most likely to prefer flashy clothes to subtle ones compared to JDM and muscle enthusiasts.
Muscle car enthsusiasts prefer small government by a considerable margin, while JDM and Euro enthusiasts seem to go either way with preference to big government or small government. JDM enthusiasts are the most likely to prefer big government over small government.
Euro enthusiasts appreciate comedy and documentary movies more than muscle and JDM enthusiasts, muscle car enthusiasts love their action movies and JDM enthusiasts are the most likely to be a fan of horror movies.
Surprisingly, muscle car enthusiasts are the least likely to really appreciate the great outdoors while JDM enthusiasts are the most likely to be outdoor enthusiasts.
Unsurprisingly, JDM enthusiasts are the most likely to prefer extensively modified cars to cars with little to modifications to them. On the other hand, Euro enthusiasts are the least likely to love extensively modified cars.
JDM enthusiasts are the least likely to care about whether or not car makers stay to their roots while muscle and Euro enthusiasts care more about tradition when it comes to cars.

I like how you have a picture of all three genres up top. JDM (being the skyline), Muscle (being the Mustang) and Euro (being the pile of scrap metal).
rekt haha
I’d just like to correct that by saying that’s actually a Kouki S14, not a Skyline.
Very interesting. What were your population sizes for each of the survey’s?
86 for the muscle survey, 314 for the JDM one and 117 for euro
Nice Lancia in the top pic!
I took all 3 tests with the same answer
You forgot that JDM Enthusiasts watch anime.
Other than that, Good job with tge blog.
Yet another thing in list of traits where I’m un-normal. Because I don’t watch anime :)
Lol. I’m not surprised JDM guys like outdoors.
I’m always camping it seems, and Subaru happens to help fund Leave No Trace.
then again, you always see rednecks in their lifted trucks playing in the mud as well
