How to Drain Coolant Reservoir?

I’m planning on flushing my cars coolant this weekend but I have stumbled upon a problem. Can anyone give me advice on how I can remove the coolant in the reservoir tank? The tank is way inside the engine near the fan, there are no bolts for me to remove and also there’s no drain plug on the reservoir tank.

Someone told me that inorder for me to remove the reservoir tank I need to remove the bumper. I don’t want to go through that hassle just for that.

You can just take off the tank, undo it from the hose, and dump it out

That’s the problem, I can’t take off the tank. The bolts holding the tank is no where to be seen. The only hose I can take off is the little hose that connects the reservoir to the radiator

Find the overflow hose and blow in it with an airgun that will force the water over to the radiator. ☺

Thanks guys. I have solve the problem by using a suction type thingy (the one used to remove water in a fish tank) and it worked really well.

To clear up any misunderstanding, the reservoir tank only has 1 hose (as seen on the pic) and that hose is used to return and suck coolant from the reservoir. The radiator can be filled up by removing the radiator cap. I have heard that you can use gravity by sucking on the hose until coolant comes out but unfortunately the hose is being a b*tch and won’t come off.

Thanks for the inputs, much appreciated.

Your radiator should have a plug or petcock at the bottom. Open the reservoir cover, put a catch basin below the radiator plug, then slowly remove the plug or open the petcock. Wear gloves and safety glasses.
