5 Cool cars ruined by Mythbusters. #BlogPost

Hello my fellow CTzens, here Guido Mirabel with a new Blog Post series called “Cool cars ruined by some TV show”, in this time, we gonna start with one of my favorite shows of all the time, and part of my childhood, “Mythbusters”. We all love this show, because we learn someting watching it or we have some fun with the explosions, but among with all the cars they destroyed, i considered 5 of them were cool and don’t deserve being destroyed. So stop the chat and let’s start this blog.

1: 1967 Plymouth Fury

This american beauty was featured in the show twice: First, they want to prove if a loose driveshaft could make the car flip in the air, to try this, they altered the driveshaft and try to make it loose into a pothole, but the car doesn’t flip and the Myth was busted.
Later, this same car appeared in the “killer tissue box” myth, were they prove if a simple tissue box could kill you in an accident. The car was crashed into a cement barrier and was it’s end.

2: Porsche 928

I guess everybody knows this myth. The team tested out the Porsche 928 is faster backwards myth. To prove it, they disassembled this poor sports car and put the whole body backwards. And later was tested with an normal 928.

3: Chevrolet Caprice Custom Coupe

The american icon ‘67 Caprice/Impala is now an coveted car between the petrolheads. This sad Impala blowed up in the revision of the “JATO Rocket Car” myth. They put some rockets in the car and went to the desert, the experiment went wrong and the Impala exploded.

4: Fiat X1/9

For some americans, the FIAT brand is unknow, but in Europe and South America is know by the majority. Maybe the TV show producers think that destroy this ultra rare Fiat Bertone was a good idea, but no. This jem was killed in the “Compact Compact” myth, if it was possible that an small car could be “welded” between two trucks in a high speed crash. It was crushed twice: Once when one of the trucks went out of control and then crushed between 2 trucks.

5: 1987 Chevrolet Corvette

For the great finale, i leave the worst idea ever. Put two dead pigs inside a mint C4 Corvette, and then cleaned it and tried to sell it. The smell turned off every potential buyer plus the interior was ruined from the decaying animals.

The whole car was ruined, the interior looks like an horror movie, the two pigs smelled so bad and even the seats and some parts of the dashboard ended ruined. This is the worst thing ever made to a car.
