Which engines will take over from the likes of the 2JZ, LS and RB26 as the go-to engine swap?

With increasing reliance on computer/electronically controlled car internals, which modern engines do you think will be the next crop of powertrains sought-out for modifications and engine swaps? Maybe the E60 M5 V10? Even a Ferrari flat-plane crank V8? Would like to know people’s thoughts.

I can see the Ford ecoboost series taking off pretty well and of course the GM LS, now LT, series will always be good for a cheap reliable swap

The LT motors will probably take over for the LS engines
